Finally a good news :) :) got PPR in email. But they didnt send any instructions regarding my brother who is already in Canada. Replied them back, now have to wait for their response before sending the passports.

For us ecas got updated to "medical results have been received" more than 2 mths after my mom's additional med test and 15 days later it was DM. But no PPR yet :(

You are right regarding the cap being reached for 2015. For 2016, I would suggest you mail your application such that it reaches CPC on Jan 2nd as I have heard that this year cap was reached on jan 4 or 5th so mail your pkg just before new year.
