I am planning to sponsor my parents and would like to know whether i could apply anytime i want to or there is a certain time that i need to consider?

Cause i heard there is a yearly CAP that has been reached this year and CIC wont be accepting anymore application. So does that mean i should apply in JAN?

This is getting do confusing the letter I got from London office
Clearly states that I need to send the passport
But went to TCS today and they said we cannot send a
Passport original from one country to another
It also states in our passport

Please help what shall we do

I cannot comment on whether it IS a passport request or not as I am still waiting for a PPR but as far as submitting your passport is concerned, you dont have to send it through courier. You have to submit it at a VAC in khi, islamabad or lahore and once the visa is stamped, you pick up from the same location.

congrats.. yes its normal

London office requires copies of biodata pages of passports ONLY.
London does not need your passports as it is not allowed to mail Pakistani passports outside Pakistan.
Scan the pages and send to them by email, or upload via their website through case-specific inquiry.
Do this ASAP.

Once London finalizes file on their side, then Islamabad Office will request your passports for visa issuance.

Hopefully this explains everything.

Write whatever people write in case status inquiries.
If you have difficulty doing that, either find a friend/relative or inquire through MP.

You are right regarding the cap being reached for 2015. For 2016, I would suggest you mail your application such that it reaches CPC on Jan 2nd as I have heard that this year cap was reached on jan 4 or 5th so mail your pkg just before new year.

Need guidance from this excellent forum members on my future plan.

I am working in UAE and have planned do short landing end of this month, move completely by May 2016. After staying a week in Canada I will fall back to UAE, my country of residence/work.

I would require to apply for parents supervisa for my mother who is also living with us in UAE as my father passed away. She has UAE residence visa under my sponsorship.

I understand for applying parents supervisa, I need to have specific income. Now since I am not completely moving to Canada until next May 2016, I want to apply for supervisa now, showing my current income derived in UAE. Therefore my mother can move with me to Canada. Though I will not be renting any apartment in Canada until I finally move, I can provide an address there for this purpose. Note, I will have COPR only (PR card will take time) and also fulfill the income requirement for family/parents supervisa.

My question is it do-able? As a PR, can I apply for my mother now using my current outside Canada income, in the embassy of UAE, my current country of residence?

Would be grateful for your kind guidance.

Hey... congratulations. No idea as there is no defined timeline. There is another person I saw on the forum with same timeline i.e. Status change to Decision made on NOV 2 but still waiting for the passport request.

How much time they took from In Process to Decision Made after updating Medicals received line on ECAS? My application status is still In Process with "3.Medical results have been received." as last entry on ECAS.

Congragulations for DM it means ppr in few days. Please tell after how much time after "medicals have been recieved " om ecas your status changed to dm? Because we are the same boat

For us ecas got updated to "medical results have been received" more than 2 mths after my mom's additional med test and 15 days later it was DM. But no PPR yet
