Hi Guys, Just checking the website and found one extra line

Sponsorship

1. we received your application to sponsor XXXXX on july 2010
Dependents listed on this application are:XXXXXXX
2. we started processing your application on April 21, 2105
3. we sent correspondence on April 21, 2015 about the decision of your application

my question is does that I mean I have to wait another 5 years till LVO make a decision? please advise.
the file was transferred to LVO office on July 30.

no, it won't take that long, you can check the spread sheet to calculate the actual processing time of LVO. some of another forum member, whose visa office is London, got the COPR already. so definitely it won't take that long. be positive. best of luck

I think you misunderstood what LVO means. It stands for London Visa Office. Thats ok it happens when you are new to the forum you dont always understand what the short form stands for.

Someone please help....I need some reassurance
Today ecas got updated to... "We sent you a letter on September 15, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

What could it be??? My ecas hasnt been updated abt medical results being rcvd. Before this, all correspondence was being sent on my email so I m confused as to why they sent a mail now.
Got an email on sept 4th to submit docs to prove my brother's relation to our father that was rcvd by LVO sept 10th. Then got an email on sept 10th asking for my bro's fingerprints n clearance from RCMP. Now what could it be that they sent through mail and not email??
Could it be an interview call?

Please share from your experiences.

In case my parents come to visit Canada in December, can i request CIC to chaneg the Visa office to Ottawa so that they can do they Medical & also send passports in Canada?

I applied for notes in Aug and they cash the check on 28th of Aug, but they didn't send me any email to give me tracking number. I send a request for notes via mail, will they answer me back in 30 days or not. I heard that, when they receive the request they send an e-mail, to give a tracking number, but I didn't receive any. so Is it normal or do I need to e-mail them or do I should wail for 30 days.

Hi moongs. I dont think you need to request that if all the sponsored applicants are here in Canada. CIC gives the option to submit the passport in Ottawa as long as ALL meaning the main applicant, spouse, and dependent children (if applicable) is in Canada. As for the medical, they can do it any where in the world as long as there is approved panel doctors.

Please update spreadsheet. Also I think a lot of others had their files transferred and medical requests... should I be concerned, should I call CIC. I called September 1st and they just stated that my file is being processed as of March and is in a queue... does that qualify as File Transfer ?

We sent our additional documents in August . Its been one month and we have not recieved our passport request. Although our ecas status was updated with 2 lines but its still showing old information what should we do please answer
