hi friends,

I also sent my update few days ago. after that, they requested my military service book as a missing document although i sent an exemption letter in which it wasd mentioned how much was paid for this exemtion, they said either your military service book or an exemption certificate!! i emailed them asking if they need the original or a certified copy of all pages as mentioned previously in their update request, they did not reply! hence i had to send the certified copies. what do u think?

DAM2006 I wanted to ask you about this, how many days did it take them to ask you again for the missing document? and did you send them an in inquiry or they initiated this particular communication?

possibility is high, keep checking your junk mail, one time i read about someone who found it in the junk mail by chance.

Hurry.Visitor, you are september applicant, many septembers have received it. it should be near now.

Again with the list, I removed "heaad" since he is January and we didn't hear from him, so I will suppose that he received his UL.

@ youskal : am checking the junk mail always, but my point was that maybe we didnt got it at all not even to junk mail,
coz i read somewere that when CIC send the emails, sometimes (but a small percentage) they got "delivery failure" for some emails, and as i read, its the applicant responsibity not CIC.

iam sep applicant ya but i didnt got nothing yet thats why am kind of worry, i was expecting it the past 2 weeks,
you are August also how you didnt got nothing yet ? ?

Hi Hos,

If you did not contact them before, Its a suggestion that you do, and I think if you contact them you will find the UL in your email the next day, If I was a june applicant and knew about september applicants getting the UL, I would contact them

HOWEVER, its completely your choice and your decision and the outcome is yours.

I myself when i contacted them they said we will be in contact with you within six months, they will never forget anyone and they will never change their schedules. They must have some criteria. But i think it is better to contact them for a reason just to be safe in mind that they did not already send it and i have not got it via email, so just to make sure that they did not send it not me who has not got it!!

Wow, that was even faster than I expected. Great news.

AS Dam2006 said, they have their schedule, critera and bring forward dates.
The trick is to contact them on time, not late, and certainly and most important not too early.
In your case it was on time, it was time for them to send you the UL, once you contacted them they confirmed that by sending you the UL.

For me for example, I will wait for 2 more weeks, and check september ppl, and then send them an inquiry.

Now that most of our thread members got their UL, and others are on the way, we need to help each other by sharing each and every detail, this will help us in identifying timelines and right times, so I kindly ask you to share with us:

* Any communication done with CHC, incoming or outgoing.
* Receipt of Medicals / PFPR / PPR
* request for additional documents, info, ect....

WOW thats great hos,
i feel sometimes that they forget us ;D
but any way couple more weeks ill wait too, and then ill contact them to see whats going on,

one question guys, did any-body got it through Mail ? ? ?
coz when i applied on 2006 they requested both email and mail, and i used both of them.
