hi, is ur friend 2006 applicant or when exactly he received his file number? which office he is on? when did he send the updated documents? would be very helpful if u provide us with these info.

Armintaba, if your friend received this reply before medicals, I'm afraid its a rejection.

How's it going guys?

According to analysis of other threads and analysis of prior batches, we should start receiving medical requests in February, of course it depends on a case by case, some might take a bit longer, but some of us should hear from them in february.

Nirmal: Yes each visa office have different rythm, New Delhi are now in 2004 / 2005 batch, Damascus are now in 2006 batch, and London in 2007 onwards batch.

If it was before med request, i'm affraid it means that he's been rejected

Normally it takes around two months but i know people who has been waiting for their pass request for more than 6 months.

No she has got it before the medicals ,they are pretty worried about the results. she is a 2007 applicant and the office is the canadian emabassy in Sidney. she had gone to australia to speed it up but I think canadian officers are quite smart and experienced since she got back home exactly after the submission of her application forms. after 2 yeras they requested for her UL but 11 months later they gave her a new file number and canceled her previous file number. and a few days ago she received the Email of the decesion made
