No, Not at all. I got my 1st CAIPS result 4 months ago and I applied again for another one this month.

Thanks Xaxar :) I sent them my new address with my updated documents, they updated it in their site after two months but they didn't evaluate my points...

I don't know what's the problem. I'm civil engineer with 6 years of site experience, I didn't go to military service, I have IELTS 7.5 and I have family in Canada and I estimate that my score is about 74... but still they haven't screened my scores... What about you Xaxar?

Yes, they sent update letters to the most of Oct 2006 applicants as well. about the Tentative type, what do you think the problem is? I have the same result, do you think if I apply again for CAIPS , it will be possible to see another BFD, or it's permanent?

Xanar, I got my CAIPS two months ago (about 4 months after sending my updates!), and the BFD was the same as yours, also they even hadn't evaluated my scores and all of them except age was ZERO! I don't know why because all my other friends who got their caips result had a BFD for the next 2-3...

No we can't, because I got my CAIPS too and after more than 3 months of submiting my updates, they hadn't evaluated my scores...

I remember, during the GREEN MOVEMENT in Iran, they officially facilitated and expedited the procedure of getting visa but only for visit and temporary visa... it had no effect on us...

Normally it takes around two months but i know people who has been waiting for their pass request for more than 6 months.

Armin jaan, When did he recieve this email? Before medical or after it? If it was before med request, i'm affraid it means that he's been rejected :(

Next step will be Passport Request. then you have to send your passport + New photos + Landing fee to them. You can expect this email anytime after 2 months but I know some people which are waiting for their PR for more than six months. By the way, please write your timeline for us. :D
