Fadi thats great, this means that your files are moving, soon you will have medicals as Hassan said.

I will try to answer Dam2006 inquiry with the info i remember, however, if i'm wrong please do correct me.

Your files were transferred to warsaw in june 2009 (also updates were sent)

Which means its been around 10 months since your transfer

I am an old system applicant (Dec 2004 transferred to warsaw on 2009) have sent Updates on Sep 2009 and nothing happened since then. you friends have any idea for how long may I wait for medicals.

hi, i think your time line is almost as fadi's time line. Fadi heared from them last week and for the first time after the update. So hopefully u will hear something soon.

Hi All,

Yesterday i recieved an email from my lawyer with a scanned copy"Fax communication" of the communication between them and CHC Damascus, CHC replied to our Status Enguiry that "File is Under Study", and included new file number...

now at least i know that my file is under study.. I expected to have medicals, but it seems CHC Damscus is overloaded...
Ecase still Recieved by Visa office

Just wanted to through some light and keep you posted..
Hope will recieve mdecals soon and won't take time.

Dear all

This is my first post here , I found this thread by chance.
I don’t know exactly if I am in the right place here but I appreciate any response from you.
And here is my case development
File no. may 2006 ( London office )
Update request : August 2008
Update sent : November 2008
IELTS request : January 2009
IELTS sent with sufficient points : March 2009
Interview request : August 2009 ( couldn’t go due to visa matters )
Received email from CIC London that my file had been transferred to CIC Damascus ( which process cases from my country of origin )

My question is : are they going to process my file as a new one or as 2006 applicant and whether they begin from scratch . noting that my caips shows that I got 69 point but however interview required. ( I ordered caips when my file still in London office before the interview )
By the way , I got a new file number from CIC Damascus and my online status shows in process since 7th October 2009.

Any comment or advice will be highly appreciated.

The same thing happened to me too. They transferred my file to the Warsaw office at the end of April.
I think we will get our update letter within 3 months.
It seems that we finally are on track.
I hope everybody hear from them soon.

When they transfer a file to another office; there would be another designated officer for the file, and he or she must study all document again to proceed. You definitely would not be considered as new applicant so I think you would hear from them asking you to come for an interview.
That's what I think about your situation.

What has been their reason for transferring your file? Did they mention any reason like "program integrity" or what?
