Thanks don't blame any of us pls,we can't just help not taliking about this long overdue delay.Anyways am really exploring a lot of possibilities after my landing by his grace and i hope others will follow suit.

Let me ask one more thing Tito:Are applications worked on, as per the date of receipt by cic or when you receive your first AOR.Our application was received in Nov 04 and processing began 08/02/05,the application according to cic is on the queue for review ,and would be treated according to how they were received.Will our application be in 04 or 05?(Tito ,i wld love to hear from you)

My sister, I wasn't blaming you or anybody at all; I wrote that out of sympathy. I went through same ordeal but just wanted to share how I managed it.

There are too many dynamics involved; technically, AOR is just what it is - announcing that your application was received while they actually start working on it from the processing date. Look at AOR as something done by one of the clerks/office assistants, who goes ahead to push the application forward for real action.
Now to the funny part, that your application started being processed in 2005 does not mean it cannot be concluded before that of a 2004! My 2002 application was concluded before that of a friend who was a 2001.

hi sorry for the delay, i have done medicals and police report and i have also updated my documents for a while now, early this year. so all i am waiting for now is the request for our passport. i can tell u that i have been really worried and hoping that we are called soon. i am june 2004, when did u apply??have u done ur own medicals too. have u heard of anybody in june 2004 that has received their visas,. i thank God for u guys and it is a good thing that we can network i never knew that they were working on june 2004 until i joined this forum. i am praying that we will finish our processing this year all of us.

June 2004 applications are still under its normal processing time. Should you check CIC website, 30 percent of the applications were finalized for 74 months, 50 percent were finalized for 77 months, 80 percent were finalized for 84 months.

At the moment, June 2004 is 75 months back from today.Therefore, according to the CIC processing time statistics, 2004 shall be finalized by the end of september through December 2010.

2005 will start receiving documents update From Novemver 2010 through Feb, 2011 and Medical request from March 2011 until June 2011. I know this, as i followed the processing trends and standardized the trends by CIC processing time on the website.

Ask your friend to send mail to CHC for a status update or to update any documents necessary to be updated except police reports and proof of funds,Chc will ask for that when necessary. Though CHC insist that applicants should refrain from contacting them. To contact CHC is never a crime, ask your friend to contact them. I did, and some others i know did. thereafter, their files was receiving attention. There are many appications, in which Chc has left on a queue due to MI rules and new policy.Old applicants needed to be pro-active so that our application can recieve attention and continue processing. If your friend do this, in no time he will read from Chc to update
his/her application form to submit proof of funds and police reports
