Dear All,

Going by the recent message and response from CHC Accra, They are still working under their normal processing Time for the old applicants. You would like to know that, following the processing time statistical information Table, it takes Accra 6-7 years for a complete process of old applicants. I use the information on the Table to interpret the processing time in order to know when and when we shall likely to receive what and what from Accra at a particular month.

2004 APPLICANTS

QUARTELY AOR APP.VOL.% UPDATE REQ. MEDICAL REQ. TOTAL VISA APPROVAL MTHS MTHS MTHS MTHS MTHS

1st quarter Jan- Mar. 30% 66 69 74 August 2010

2nd Quarter
April-June 50% 69 72 77 November 2010

3rd Quarter August-Sept 70% 72 75 84 April 2011

4th Quarter Oct-December 80% 75 78 87 September 2011

*** These Interpretations was based on Statistical Information on July 1 2009 - June 30 2010***

****For total Accuracy, add (+)or(-)2 months to your own calculation, incase there may be a delay in your response to Accra requests*****

**** Note: 6-7 years processing time at Accra, are added up in weeks to make-up total-months. Your specific months to receive from Accra depends on the date you submitted your application and the date Accra started processing your application.*****

**** The forcast are likely months for update,medical and Visa approval.

2005 APPLICANTS
QUATERLY AOR APP.VOL.% UPDATE REQ MEDICAL REQ. TOTAL VISA APPROVAL
MTHS MTHS MTHS MTHS MTHS MTH MTHS

1st quarter Jan-March 30% 66 69 74 August 2011

2nd Quarter April-June 50% 69 72 77 November 2011

3rd Quarter August-Sept 70% 72 75 84 April 2012

4th Quarter Oct-Dec 80% 75 78 87 September 2012

**** Statistics for 2005 may be slightly different from 2004 above when information on July 1 2010 - June30 2011 is out*****

**** But at present let's base our information on the one available to us for now

Your analysis looks logical and credible. Thumbs up and keep up the good work.

Dear Old Applicants
I need a feedback please. Calculate your possitions andlet me know if my interpretaion are correct

Hi, Seglad,

From the chart, June 2004 applicants (of which I am one) should get PPR/visa in November 2010. I got update request at 66 months, medical request at 69 months and when u add the fact that another medical request was made for new baby at 72 months with a few delays here and there, I think 77months or thereabout will be for PPR/visa as u noted. This is the way I have interpreted mine.

Don’t lie in your Canada immigration application
Canada, 26th October: Do you know that any lie in your Canada immigration application can put a question mark on your chances of immigration?

While providing detailed information in your application for Canada immigration, you must provide a true and authentic detail of various facts about yourself. Giving any false information can hinder not only yours but also the chances of your family members seeking immigration to Canada.

Why should you abstain from providing false information in your Canada visa application---

• Giving untrue information in your application is regarded a legal crime under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;

• It renders you ineligible to immigrate to Canada either for studying in Canada, working in Canada, going to Canada on a Canada visitor visa or seeking permanent immigration to Canada;

• It reduces the chances of your family members for Canada immigration;

• It shows your disrespect towards rules of laws and makes you suspicious in the eyes of the Canada immigration officials regarding the disrespect you might show towards Canadian laws after your immigration to Canada.

• Immigration fraud is considered to be a big threat to the security and integrity of the immigration system of Canada and anyone caught to be misrepresenting the facts is likely to be denied any chance to immigrate to Canada.

• The introduction of ‘The Cracking Down on Crooked Consultants Act’ on June 8, 2010 is another proof of the fact that anyone found to be involved in fraud either directly or under the influence of any crooked immigration consultants to gain Canada citizenship or Canada visa will not be spared by Canada immigration department.

• The government of Canada has introduced several measures to ensure that immigration consultation services in Canada are provided only by notaries, lawyers or registered members of CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants).

• Anyone giving false information about persecution for making refugee claims is likely to face severe punishment as per the Canada immigration laws.

Remember, honesty is, undoubtedly, the best policy if you want to successfully immigrate to Canada and even a small lie might make you pay a heavy price for your mistake.

Hi All,

I don't know if any one can help me here. I have tried to contact the Canadian consulate in Accra but no one replied me. I applied in London is Sep 2004, but I was told to bring additional documents to my application, so when I added my wife's documentation, I was transferred to the Accra consulate, which was Feb 2007.

I got a letter from them May 09 asking saying that they are writing me on my application dated Sep 04 to confirm if I was still interested, if I was I should not reply, but I was not, I should reply. I didn't.

The million dollar questions are

1.) what batch am I? Am I in the Sep 04 batch or the Feb 07 batch?

2.) I have spent 4 years in London and 4 years in the US before coming to settle in Nigeria, and when I applied, I sent the police certificates of these 2 Countries along with that of Nigeira where I live. I have not lived in those Countries since I sent my application, would I be asked to submit new police certificates for those Countries too?

If there's anyone who has an idea of the answers to these questions, please help a brother out.

Thanks

Ribs

Hi All,

Try again by sending a case specific inquiry as recent feelers from Accra suggest renewed vigour on their part I applied in London is Sep 2004, but I was told to bring additional documents to my application, so when I added my wife's documentation, I was transferred to the Accra consulate, which was Feb 2007.

I got a letter from them May 09 asking saying that they are writing me on my application dated Sep 04 to confirm if I was still interested, if I was I should not reply, but I was not, I should reply. I didn't. I got the same letter at about the same time last year and I have done medicals. I am June 2004.

The million dollar questions are

1.) what batch am I? Am I in the Sep 04 batch or the Feb 07 batch? You are Sept 2004

2.) I have spent 4 years in London and 4 years in the US before coming to settle in Nigeria, and when I applied, I sent the police certificates of these 2 Countries along with that of Nigeira where I live. When they ask u for update, most likely they will ask for the police certificates again.
