Dear All,

I am in the same boat as all of you.

My CRS Score is 440. I am NOT going to ask about whent the score will come down.

My question is, do you guys think its a good enough score?

IELTS: I already have CLB 9
WES: 2 or more degrees
NOC: 1111

I am just unlucky that I have two years of experience. Thats why one of my adaptability score is at 25. By next year I will have 3 years of experience and my CRS can jump to 465.

But still 440 stands a good chance. Whatsay?

Hey, I'm at 440 also, and I think it's a score that has a good chance. If CIC has 25 rounds of invitations for this year, there is a great likelihood our number would be called by the end of the year or sooner.

I dont know why CIC doesnt come below 450

Serious answer: because they don't want to.

The reason they have a points system is so that they can bring people with certain traits in, and exclude those lacking those traits. If the score goes too low, there is little reason for having a points system.

More nuanced answer: There are many applications that were pre-EE. They haven't needed to drop the score below 450, so they don't. Eventually, they will run out of pre-EE applicants, at which point the score may go down a bit more. It may go down sooner, depending on how the applicant pool and ESDC handle LMIAs.

People who are narrowly missing the 450 cut-off mark should really try and increase your scores. Do not and I mean do not wait and see if the scores will go down in the future draws. Do something about it. CRS might come down below 450, then again it might not. At this point no one knows how CIC will regulate this. If you really want to migrate to Canada or stay here, you would do anything and everything to make it possible. Do not rely solely on the hope that scores will go down. People who are leap frogging you and getting ITAs are probably doing something that is working for them. Don't sit around. Be ruthless when it comes to immigration (there are only a limited number of ITAs and way too many applicants). Its every man for himself out there.

Even with a 21 days Gap this time the scores are going to drop down. Reasons being less PNP less people entering the pool. more requirement to complete quota and the following draws may be with smaller gaps .

So its going to drop in any case now. Just wait and watch dont los

Source?

less people entering the pool
Really? Why, what changed?

more requirement to complete quota
No, the requirements are almost done, it was discussed and explained multiple times in different threads, the requirements are not that easy to calculate and estimate against as you think. It was proven by some member of the forum that they can easily maintain score at 450 with 2 draws a month.

Hey Guys,

I am at 472, filed on Oct 16th Night, received PNP from ONTARIO on 17 Oct, but not taking this PNP. Hoping the application gets picked in the 19th draw.

Fingers crossed!!!

Well, it seems that Ontario's selection definitely goes by some unspecified criteria, perhaps the NOC. My CRS score is also above 470 but have not received any PNP notification from Ontario. My profile went open on the 10th of the month. Hope I make it in the next draw too.

What is your NOC? I checked some of your previous posts. You said you were 2171/2 (data analyst)? But you also said you are working as a registered nurse?

Lets see if the scores dont come down this time. I don't see 2 Draws with same 450 scores. Only one draw may be a slightly higher not more than 454 and than rest below 450

Well there is a new Government now and I doubt whether there will be any draw anytime soon.

Thinking outside the box, if there are any draws soon, the scores may go down as the liberals are more immigrant friendly. (just an assumption)

Can someone please help me with determining my date of eligibility to apply for express entry? I'm trying to clarify when my 12 month full time work experience will be reached. Below is my work history:

Job#1 NOC A: started on 20 October 2014 ended on 31 December 2014
Job#2 NOC A: started on 05 January 2015 and is ongoing
I have effectively 4 days of gap between the two jobs. 3 days of which are holiday and weekends. And 1 day was a business day.

So I'm not quite sure if I should wait until the end of this week or apply on 20 October 2015.

Please let me know.

Thank you.

Question: I am in the pool on 468 points, hoping for ITA next draw. I am on IEC which expires Nov 21st. I was told to submit a open work permit application to gain implied status. Do I need an ITA before I do this? As of this Wednesday it will be 30days left on my Visa, which I was told is the deadline for applying for an open work permit. Could anyone please give me advice? What would you recommend in my position?
