Im 18 months today... no ip or anything. When i call they just say there doing background checks

Hi Guys! May I ask if you have enough fund on your account. My husband told me that one of PNP applicant in Alberta was denied because of "not enough fund" and need to leave Canada because his/her work permit will also be expired.

Is fund really a ground for refusal? What if you have a permanent employer in Canada and they are the one who nominate you as PNP, is fund still needed?

Almost 16 months... In process and dependents' medical reassessment in June 2015. To date, I have heard no update yet :-(. Do I need to worry about anything?

hi guys
i have been waiting for more than 18 months
my file reached at cic on 6th feb 2014
medical done in march 2014
in process since aug 2014
and i had also applied for GCMS notes. I read that there is nothing wrong in my file.
i had sent e mail to cic before few weeks ago. they told me that my file was in sydney. its not in ottawa yet.
please let me know guys what should i do?
