Got ITA! At 454, had no hopes to receive ITA anytime soon due to the score crawling in the past few draws, but CIC surprised again and showed how unpredictable this system is!!

I was getting ready to send OOPNP application tomorrow but will now not work on it. Relief!!

Im so happy to see the scores go down. Congrats to to all forumites who got ITA. Hoping I will get too. I hope those persons who got ITA n OOPNP invite will give up OOPNP so some of us waiting with much lower score (low 400s) can get a chance for an OOPNP invite.

Congrats to all who got ITA today. Though a long way for me, happy that the 453 jinx is broken. Hope to see the 450 barrier broken very soon too. Then we all have hope.

One Important point to note is statistical distribution of scores is not a bell shape i.e. there were more number of candidates per point until now but this draw shows that no. is again reduced. This I suppose is a good news for scorers between 400-450.

This number reduction could also be because of the time period between subsequent draws and also the number of ITA's in each draw. At-least for the past 2 to 3 months, CIC has coming out with draws every 2 weeks and the ITA's issued are close to 1500 every time. If they increase the time period between draws or reduce the number of ITA's, this would enable lot of new candidates to be plugged into the system and also ensure more number of candidates per point. Hopefully they maintain the same frequency and selection number.
