Hi guys...hope you can help me with this...

my passport expires mar2016, just got my ita last weekend and i still have over 50days for submission. is it better to renew my passport now (can take up to 30days to process) before submitting? or submit then change the passport details in my profile later? also, if i submit later with my new passport details, do i need some sort of explanation and substantiation on why i changed it in my profile?

You have sufficient time to do either of the 2 options.

1. Assuming you submit your application by 1st August, there is a very good chance that your PR decision will come through within 6 months or by 1st Feb and you can then get your passport work done afterwards.

2. You can do what you are planning now assuming, of course, that they don't delay the process. Add an LOE which highlights this discrepancy after getting a new passport - won't be a problem.

All the best!

Hello everyone.. i got an ITA in the 13th draw and planning to wait as my CEC PR application has been under process since July 2015. My question here is how do I find out if my ITA is for CEC or FSW? Also if i apply EE FSW, would i have to cancel my CEC PR application?

Just because the crs points below 451 has not been drawn till date,we cannot just say that they won't come down below 451. I am sitting at 402 points and just being positive :)

Hey everybody!
Just one question that might be a bi silly... When you have to upload a digital photo to accept the ITA, can I scan one?? Or those it have to be directly a digital one?
thanks a lot!!

In your Mycic account there should be a message regarding ITA. It should be mentioned in the same message whether it is CEC or FSW

There is an information icon beside the photograph upload button. It explains what is required re: size, quality etc... If you can replicate the requirements by scanning a photograph then i'm sure it is okay to do so.

Thanks a lot Nagrish!

Hello,

I was just looking for some advice on the digital photos for PR application, as a non-techie person I am completing confused by whats needed!

I got my photos taken and they gave me the hard copies - that meet the dimensions i.e. frame and face size etc, and then they e-mailed me the digital photo and it seems to meet the digital resolution dimensions (540 by 420 or something), but the image is kinda massive on the screen - so then the physical dimensions don't apply anymore and then I tried to scan the hard copy of the photos and set the DPI to 600 and again the photo comes out all blown up - is this just the way it is meant to be or should i be cropping the images so it basically looks like the size of the passport picture on screen?

I'm lost - any advice would be much appreciated!

Many thanks!

Dont worry. They havent mentioned max criteria. As long as min criteria is met and file size is below 4mb, you are fine. They are not going to check the resolution on each pic that you send.
