1122 Post Application ON July 2011 Lets Share

i should wait until next Cap open... do you know when it will be open next time, so that i can be ready with my documents.

Cap year is counted every year from 1st July to 30th june. New ministerial instructions would be issued & would be effective from 1st july 2012 next year.

We had also sent application last year. But as there were many changes in the rules and the IELTS thing, we could only make it on October 28. The CAP was closed just a day before our application reached, as per the letter we received from the CIC stating why our application was being sent back. There are too many view, much appreciated, in this forum. But it is still unbelievable that CIC is processing applications as of July 7 till now. As they have written, TOTAL NUMBER OF COMPLETE APPLICATIONS AS OF JULY 29, so we should go by the statement they are making, which means as of the given date. Now it is impossible to predict, whether my application, that reached on July 26 is within the CAP or not. None of us can predict the status, can we? But apparently, if we go by the statement, it seems that the total number of applications received on July 29 could be any figure, but the number of COMPLETE applications, which is post completeness check is 259. It could also mean that the number of applications received till July 28 have made it to the CAP, if of course those were complete in the sense CIC believes it to be.

This is just an opinion. Feel free to share your views.

I have to agree with Rajughosh to some extent, not fully sure though, even mine reached CIC on teh 28th of Oct last year a day after the effective cut off date. They mentioned about closure of acceptance of applications on the 5th of Nov which is exactly a week from the date. They do not keep the quota open for long as that adds to their effort drastically because they have to open up all the applications put them different envelopes and send it back by basic postal mail.

I will also go with fact value of 259 applictions received by CIC.Assumptions on CC charged is making no sense.BD is equivalent to cash , so its no point of any delay in it.Also in NOC 3112 applications received has gone down from 4 to 3.This means if their is any issue of CC the number can withdraw from list and another application will take its place.So In my opinion all 259 is reflecting actual complete applications received by 29 July.This is what shown on table of website and we have to belive on it instead of creating new myths.Only Mr Ravi in this forum seems look so pessimistic.I dont know why..may be he is taking fun or creating spice on this forum.

I don't want to discourage anyone but I think this forum is for all who have already sent their application, don't forget that there are a lot of agencies who had sent hundreds maybe thousands of applications. My mistake is that my application was not ready before July 1st. I was planning to send mine on Aug 5 but I decided to give up since there is no way that I can be within this year cap of 1122. My only hope is that next year 1122 cap will remain or I will die

Having an employment offer is like finding a needle in an ocean in order any employer want to give an offer letter, they should go through long process and convince the Gov. that they are really in need to give this offer. Maybe in any other cap this can make sense but in 1122 I think it's difficult.

This is my own believe, maybe anyone of you will not agree.

I will wait for the 1122 July 1st, 2012 group this year I have to take a nap.

I just managed to apply last year and the application was 1 day late. The rules changed at 26th June 2010. I didn't apply under CAP last year as I didn't want to block a single application, I thought it is bit selfish.

This year, my application reached there at 20th July and may not fall within the CAP. If it doesn't happen, then I will look for PNP..

Anyway good luck to all the members..

Thanks dear. PNP is not easy at all, you need to have a job offer same line category 2!

But you know what? I really wish you the best of luck, this is a positive step at least we should open all doors if we really want to see Canada for myself, I will give it a try next year if it didn't work then I'll start searching for job or try to be a Pharmacist, Nurse, plumber just anything to make landing lo0ol kidding.

one observation: for noc 3112 the count has dropped to 3 from earlier printing of 4.....so what does it suggest?...cic initially thought complete, but later on due to some error they dropped 1?

so, we can be hopeful that 259 is the count of complete applications...and may not be en-cashment of cc/dd/bd....so stayinng optimistic makes some sense?

I THINK THEY ARE CHOOSING APPLICATION AFTER VERY CAREFULLY STUDYING ALL THE CREDENTIALS AND WORK EXPERIENCE LETTERS..............THAT WHY THEY ARE TAKING LOT OF TIME............AND I ALSO THINK THAT THERE WILL BE LOT OF REJECTIONS THIS TIME........

What will i get by creating spice in this time of distress..
Im saying what i believe is true and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I am not a senior member of the forum, but your comments make sense. We need to be optimistic as well.
