Is there any clear sign that the filed dates haven't progressed beyond 6/7th July? Processing of 70 applications per day doesn't tell you of the dates, does it? One good thing is that at this speed we'll all know soon.

I dont think this assumption is right - From this forum, three users have confirmed that their CC/BD has been cashed but it is in no particular order of CIC recieving the docs - two members said that their application reached CIC the first week of July while the third member said it reached the office on 13/14th July. I still have a ray of hope - in the end, hope give us a reason to look forward to something - cheer up guys !!

the guy who mentioned his BD got encashed was himself not sure and he told he would b able to confirm that next week.
I strongly believe that his BD got encashed was clearly a misunderstanding

had i not visited this forum i would have been so happy to see that my application was received by cio on the 14th and still 259 complete application received till 29 th of july.
Nd i would have been so happy that i made it into the cap.........
But through this forum i came to know the reality that they r still processing files received on the 6th of july

Congratulations on your CC being charged. I just have a question. How many CAD did you authorize CIO to charge from your CC? I am just wondering how much citi bank is charging for their transaction apart from the exchange rates where applicable.

I will let you know what the processing fee is, since for now it is not popping up on my account. Just pure cad 1400.

I have a credit limit of usd10000, so the credit card limit was not a question here.

I hope next year 1122 will still exist as I don't think 500 + 500 applicants [with offers] is enough for whole Canada to fulfill the gap. this is my own assumption to make me cheer up till next year.

Next year on July 1st my application will be handed to CIO office, I feel sorry for my self. this is not an easy competition.

One question in advance what if the IELTS validity will end up on Oct 2012 and I sent it to CIO on July 2012 do you think it will be ok? or should I sit for another exam to be in the safe side?

This time I will make everything ready in advance

You don't have to take another IELTS exam.

Actually i authorized cad1400, so this amount was charged. This is for me, my wife and the kids, so the amount is rather big.
