My application got thru this year and I've got the message from CIC saying the application got positive review and the dox will be sent to VO. Did anybody else from Russia got the positive review notification from CIC in 2011? Did you get further notifications from Moscow VO? I am still waiting...

It is a matter of fact that one can use the real estate property as a proof of funds. It has to be properly assessed by a certified company. Jewelery can not be used.

Actually i authorized cad1400, so this amount was charged. This is for me, my wife and the kids, so the amount is rather big.

I will let you know what the processing fee is, since for now it is not popping up on my account. Just pure cad 1400. I have a credit limit of usd10000, so the credit card limit was not a question here.

Well, I used the CC payment form and just filled out the form three times for different credit cards that I have, so that if one do not thru they can give it a try with another one. Best practice sharing.
