1122 Post Application ON July 2011 Lets Share

Hi I am a new member. My application was delivered yesterday. Clock currently at 391 and moving fast towards 500. I have been told by my agent that this year VISA Processing is not on first come basis but purely on eligibility. They are looking for people with experience from large multinational companies with profiles specifically as management consultants or close. Thats the reason the CAP is not full yet.

Your agent is dreaming. Of course eligibility is a must, otherwise application will be returned to us, but if someone who applied on 7th July is eligible and works in small company, he will not be declined because there is someone who applied on 7th August and works in a big company as a management consultant.

What do you think CIO will say to people who have NOC 1122 experience and signed those job duties from small private company and who's apps were eligible as per check list, but not put into processing just because there was someone with better resume, IELTS, etc... and who applied later?

I had referred CIC site and it stated the forms are effective from November 2011.

It's better that you sent new forms, since they said that they encourage applicants to send new forms. You can use old forms, but only if you previously downloaded them to your pc. Moreover, after 18th July new check list was issued, so you did a good job with new forms and have sent everything by the rules.

Well, if the theory about application completeness check and later after that the fee payment charge is correct, than you should make it. Let's pray it's like that.

Had the same experience too from my agent but she feel strongly about the new form and checklist. My application was ready for dispatch on the 25 July but she advised that that the form be changed on the basis that:

(a) It helps eliminate error somewhat since some key fields in the form must be filled otherwise the validation will not generate the bar codes

(b) She is also of the view that should my application pass the eligibility stage it will be faster to review by an immigration officer

So because of the above I had to wait for the whole information to be transferred to the new form and thereby mailing the documents on 30 July and was received on 4 August.

Hi Guys,

Does anybody CC or BD charged whose application reached after 20th July? With this information at least we can track which applications CIC is processing currently. With the speed of numbers growing, I guess they will even not reach processing of application reached in August.

has anyone kept tags as to how many are in this forum - maybe the there are enough of us to predict the pattern of CC and BD charged and so on...

Thanks , Agents always make complex . BAR code form must applicable on or after 14 Nevember, 2011 . but till that current form also applicable , no doubt

Yes i would definately say this is true, the agent is mis informed and how the hell could they possibly know that? If this was the case NOC1122 would not cover off other jobs types and roles, it would be far more specific. Don't worry and get your form off i say! Good Luck

Question - Does anyone know when last year the cap for NOC 1122 finished/was shut and at what point applications received before this date were still processed. Was it ones that arrived a week before the cap shut, a month?

Just think that this would give everyone a more realistic time frame on whether their application had reached Canada in time plus its a plus as its been proven
