Actually there is a good pattern that I didn't noticed until now, the draws are all happened in the last two fridays of the month, except for January. So because May 2015 has 5 fridays, there is no draw in 1st, 2nd, 3rd Fridays and did on the 4th. Let's see if there is in the 5th (Today)

Why are you noticing all these patterns exactly during the time of draws???/ :-\

I believe people will receive ITAs within 24 hrs (save for technical glitches)

Is it so? i thought ITAs would be sent immediately at +/- 2hrs UTC 00:00

Your pattern doesn't work. There were three draws in February with one the first week of the month. And in April the two draws were middle of the month. There is no pattern except for the one where cic proves predictions wrong

It will probably be like one draw per month hereafter i guess...Next draw would be on June 26th with cut off above 700+ crs and 1400+ ITAs

Instead of having 2 draws a month and issuing 700+ITAs with crs 450+, CIC can just do 1 draw a month and issue 1400+ITAs with crs 700+..right?

CIC will certainly be benefited by this way..

Makes perfect sense! actually

I mean, why would they conduct draws so quickly? What benefit would it give to them. They must have realized that people with good scores (700+) are taking time to enter the pool. If they conduct quick draws then the CRS score must come down which will not be of a benefit to Canada.

So, yeah, they will take as long as it takes to get around 1300 - 1500 number of candidates for ITA who also happen to get good scores(700+). All those who got through earlier rounds with low scores (453+) had everything in order and got rewarded for being proactive. Wish I was a little bit more proactive.

Anyways, I am really done with the whole thing. I am only going to check my email from MyCIC. If I get it then I get it, otherwise, will try for PNP or some other route. Looks like my earlier prediction failed.

I was just thinking... CIC had publicly stated that it would announce the "round of invitations" before it happened...

"CIC will invite candidates from the Express Entry pool to apply on a regular basis. Every round of invitations will have a set of instructions the electronic system will use to invite candidates from the pool. These instructions will be posted on this website BEFORE each round of invitations.

These instructions will include:

the date and time of the round of invitations,
the number of candidates that will get an ITA, and
if it applies, which specific immigration program(s) will be included."

So, since some of us are already in Canada, can't we try to get this info via the "Access to Information Act"? Or stir things up somehow to use the election year to get a more transparent/fair process?

I understand that immigrating to Canada is a privilege, not a right. But I do feel like I have been "played with" (not like that, you perv!!!) and spent a buttload of money lead by an "illusion" of a feasible process for us who are short only of a job offer.

I am sitting at 445 pts.

Low score invitations will start from October-2015 onwards or may be from Jan-2016.The cut off will be standardized at 325 once the previous paperback system backlog is clear. Most of the VO are busy with the piled up paperback cases which were submitted before the commencement of EE. Once the processes are streamlined the score will eventually come down therefore CIC is strict with score and only inviting the people with PNP,CEC Class and having job offers.
