    You are covered by the RAMQ when you have AOR + CSQ + Letter of employment in quebec OR AIP (approval in principle). Once you have either one or the other, you apply for it and it takes 3 months before being covered. You'll have to wait for AIP since you applied outland and your wife can't work...

    I sent my application nov. 27th. It was received by Quebec on Dec. 3rd. They opened the envelope Dec. 20 and I got AOR January 17th. I'm guessing it will take you almost another month before you receive AOR.
