No definite answer to how much money you need, but i think your mom needs a good salary, money in the bank, properties in your home country, good travel record. You can only provide a letter of invitation but everything else relies in your mom’s documents and records.

As of this week, they’re already reviewing complete appications received on September 29. We submitted my mom’s on October 31st and received the decision two days ago. I believe you need to contact them now.
