Your attorney is wrong (doesn't even surprise me anymore). Education and work experience do not have to be related. If your case is not super complicated, I strongly suggest you apply by yourself, without using a lawyer as a representative.

You received ITA based on CRS you had at the time, so changing jobs after does not affect your score, hence no need to worry or inform anyone.

When is your AOR? I too will order another GCMS notes around mid April (3 months after AOR).

Your 10 months of experience will be considered for calculating CRS score provided that the job duties match NOC 0, A, B which you are claiming.

The wording in CRS tool has been discussed previously in this forum. It is a bit misleading and probably copied from FSW eligibility. 3 years of foreign work experience in last 10 years gives you maximum CRS points and it does not have to be continuous nor in the same NOC.

CIC doesn't usually send intention to refuse application, they just refuse it. Do you mean you ordered GCMS notes and read an officer's comment there was a problem with your proof of funds?
