Angryractanglr, thank u soo much for the info. We got the sponsorship acceptance letter today. So it was really quick. I called cic, and tbey told me that the file was transferred to beirut with an urgent note and they told me its going to be expedited . Yaaay

Hi as an update, they received the application on the 3rd of november. I got a phone call on the 7th And they promised to process it by next week max. Hopefully i will get accepted as a sponsor

Thanks for your advice, I called CIC and their answer was : When we read the label URGENT we usually give priority to that application, but if it wasn't urgent. That might further delay the process. The employee was nice enough to explain that they rarely get such labels for family sponsorship...
