I have read it somewhere that i can even request new delhi visa office to allow me to send my passport after some time as i am residing in Canada. Does it result in the delay of the process or its fine to do so?

Thanks Steerpike, Its good to hear that we can move out of Canada during Inland process also. Actually i have to go to India for some academic purpose on a short trip. But i have no idea whether CBSA officers will allow me to enter.. Can we get some affidavit or something approved from CIC...
