today i got visa approval letter from CIC :) :) .Allhamdulillah.... but i need to know about my visa duration ...my classes will start in may ..but i need two months for preparation like accommodation and stuff. will my visa validation period start now?? .. everybody says that cic will not give...

I have submitted my application to VFS visa application centre DHAKA and i hv applied for study permit ..

today i received a mail in which CIC has requested me to send my original passport .. although i have already submitted my passport after my medical exam.can anyone tell how long time it takes to finalize the application after receiving passport?

i m from Bangladesh. I m about to submit my passport tomoro ... even though i did not get any mail to submit my passport .. but my frnd also did the same.he jus got the visa after 27days from his medical. he submitted his passport after medical... he suggested me to do so .. i was confused...

thanx dr frm and being human for your reply :) ...when i applied ,vfs dhaka did not keep my passport .... they say when it is required CIC will mail me..after 9 days i got my medical exam call.... one of my friends applied but got refusal within 15 days.. she ws not even requested for medical...

i applied for study permit on 29th dec 2013 ....and i got my medical exam call on 9th jan 2013...today i completed my medical .... some people say tht once u receive your medical request it means u will get visa for sure ... is that true?? plz reply guys ...
