Medical Called, Got an email from CIC.. Confused

Did my medical a few weeks back then got an email from VSF saying application has been accepted and processed... any idea on what it could mean.. and outcome...

3 or 4 working days (did medical on saturday and got this email on thursday) after the medical i got this. i am lost. i am applying from sri lanka..

i applied for study permit on 29th dec 2013 ....and i got my medical exam call on 9th jan 2013...today i completed my medical .... some people say tht once u receive your medical request it means u will get visa for sure ... is that true?? plz reply guys ...

yeah same situation here.. but i also heard it used to be the case and a lot of people say it depends if its an online or paper based.. and if its paper base and they didn't return ur passport it means that its a very good sign and if the returned ur passport with a call for medical it means it perhaps is a no... but routinely in an online application they always call u for medical approved or not.... anyway... hope that helped... and i hope we al get visa soon.. but apparently in most places they issue visa on mondays....

If you get email from Canadian High Commission stating that you have been accepted means that you have been awarded visa to enter Canada and they will send you the passport with the visa stamp else you get an e-mail for rejection with reasons.

Secondly, On your header you have mentioned e-mail from CIC but in the body you have mention e-mail from VFS. If its from VFS that means they have sent your application to CIC after acceptance and completion of all the requirements. Else if the e-mail is received from CIC that means that they have reviewed your application and a decision has been made.

I applied 8 weeks ago .. on 29th Dec they asked me for medicals and it has been 2 weeks since then. No reply

thanx dr frm and being human for your reply ...when i applied ,vfs dhaka did not keep my passport .... they say when it is required CIC will mail me..after 9 days i got my medical exam call.... one of my friends applied but got refusal within 15 days.. she ws not even requested for medical ..she was saying if u r requested to do your medical that means they are more or less ready to give u visa... some say here that CIC requests medical it means its a good sign .... but i m confused becaz in this forum i saw someone has been rejected even after doing his medical.. i dont know... does anyone know about it?????

i got a message from donotreply@vfshelpline.com stated that's my application is accepted but
its from
CIC its automatical message i dont know wht is it

and for more information my friend got visa without medical so people please calm down
medical not mean u got visa so just wait and wait then wait and wait more to know lol
