If you apply for passport in person, they will just scan the citizenship certificate and 2 valid I.D. and return it to you right away. If you will apply by mail, they are suggesting to use courier so you can keep track of your valuable documents. They will also mail it back to you.

Finally, I received the letter of notice to appear for oath taking today. The letter is dated Feb. 26, 2015 and the Oath date is March 31, 2015. Thanks to all of you guys, this forum helped a lot.

Hello anybody from Halifax who got the oath this February of 2015? Its been snowing so much. Did they do the oath ceremonies this February? Lots of no work in the provincial governments too.

Congrats! When did you have your test? I still don't have a letter, have test and interview last May 2014. No reasons whatsoever when I tried to call CIC.
