Are u applying outside Canada? It says u can't pay online I'd u are. But I don't understand. Are they asking if I'm out of Canada now or if my application goes to the Canada office? I am in Israell and I cant figure out if paying online is an option for me.

HI Sharona, You just need to write a letter explaining why you can't send it, explain that you haven't worked in Canadan and therefore haven't filled out tax forms in x years. :)

HI, I'm going the same thing now. Your child is already a Citizen, you just need to apply for proof of citizenship. At the same time, you can also start the process of sponsoring your spouse. :) Good Luck

thanks for your quick response. providing proof is a little difficult- since neither of us will have jobs to go to (as we've been here for 13 years). However, I've written a letter and have my friends and family in Toronto also writing on my behalf. I'm including that once we find out a landing...

oh ....another question. when my husband filled out the Teyoudat Yosher (or the police did), it was sent automatically to Canada. So, I'm assuming that it was in English?
