Paying the Fees Online

So I've got my visa check card in my hand, there's enough money in my account to pay the fees. But the damn thing keeps rejecting my payment! What gives?! Did anyone else have this problem and how the hell can I fix it? I'm supposed to send this off Tues ??? Is it because I'm using an American Credit Card?! What are my other options to keep this on track for a Tues send out?!

When I paid the fees online, I used my German credit card, so that shouldn't be the issue. Sorry, can't help you further but wanted to let you know.

Call your credit card company and see if they're blocking the payment.

I used an Australian credit card to pay and it went through fine, it could just be that your company doesn't want to see you making a large, international purchase.

Can your partner pay it using a Canadian credit card? I don't thik it matters who pays for it.

She doesn't have a credit card with that high of a limit lol so that's not an option. I guess the only thing I can do is call my bank tomorrow and find out..hope it's just something dumb lol I just want to get this thing mailed lol

i think your credit card company wants u to call them to verify that this is not fraud. they just protecting you from online fraud transaction. cheers!

This might not be an option since it's expensive, but if you have the cash to pay for it and you really can't get your card to work, you can always put the $1040 on her credit card and then use it. If her limit is $500, for example, and she has a balance of $0, and you pay $1040, she'll then have an available balance of $1540, which would more than cover her for the transaction.

Are u applying outside Canada? It says u can't pay online I'd u are. But I don't understand. Are they asking if I'm out of Canada now or if my application goes to the Canada office? I am in Israell and I cant
figure out if paying online is an option for me.

They're asking if your application goes outside of Canada.

Assuming you're applying outland, since your application is being sent to Mississauga first, your application IS going to Canada, and so you can pay online.

Hey Lindissa,

as long as your credit card is either a Visa, Master Card of American Express, it should be fine. If it doesn't go through, then indeed check with your bank.
Here is what CIC says

You can pay your fees online

You will need:

PDF Reader software
a printer
a Visa®, MasterCard® or American Express® credit card, and
a valid email address.

When you are finished, you must print a receipt of payment and include it with your application.

So if your card is one of the 3 listed here, and it doesn't work, best is to call your bank tomorrow.

LOL yeah my bank put a hold on my card, thought it was a fraudulent transaction. Got it done and mailed our application out on tues, it arrived yesterday, let the waiting begin!

i knew it that happens to me as well.
