please share your experiences about showing proof of funds for study permit. i really appreciate your help. i have total amount in my account in canada for 1 st year study..will that be sufficient..or do i need to show proofs where it came from?

Vishal, good to know that u got visitor visa.. what if i do not get my PR in 6 months?..what are the chances of extending my stay from visitor visa?at that time i may not be eligible for applying student visa from visitor status right..please let me know..

Thanks vishal, but i saw on this forum that visitor visa will be more likely to be rejected..but can stay until i hear some feedback.. do u know anyone who got visitor visa from student status?

Thank you so much for your response vishal. I am working on open work permit currently, it will expire soon..so i asked my employer about work permit applicaiton(LMO)..he is asking for money..i do not find any reason for me paying money to him..he is not co-operative.. Can i apply for TRP...

I do not see any time limit on cic website...i am checking with you experienced people if i am missing anything here.. but surely i will send my application as soon as possible..i have 2 months time from now..
