I've had no claims, and the only minor ticket I had was taken off my record this year and my insurance went up by $25 a month instead of being lowered. It's insane. The government of Ontario should regulate these thieves.
I couldn't log into ecas until June and it just confirms what I've said, although when I talked to an agent, they said they sent some form to be filled out in March, but I never got it. I had to ask them to resend it. Gotta love bureaucracy.
In Ontario, average insurance is about %150-$200 per month for a good driver. For someone with a lot of tickets, accidents, it can go over $300 easily.
My wife got her open working visa, but it says she cannot study. Does this mean she has to apply for a study permit now if she wants to go to college, or is there some other process?
