    Canadian Experience Class

ONTARIO PNP I read that a person is elegible as an International Graduate in Ontario PNP to apply within two years of the date on which they received their degree or diploma, so I have until June 2009. I just learned that today. What I find difficult is getting a job offer from an Ontario...

I've been researching ways to get AEO, but I find it difficult. Many companies don't feel comfortable hiring people from abroad, especially if it's not for a low-skill position. Let me know what could I do?

Apply in US or in home country?

That is true. Listen, you are in a difficult situation. I wouldn't know what to do in your case. Try sending your application to the US visa office, the worse thing that can happen is for them to return it. You do not have to be in your home country. You can send the application to the visa office in your home country, even if you are in the US.

Am I eligible to apply in Buffalo Office with this huge problem?

If you are not a US citizen, you do not have a green card and you do not have a work permit, you are illegal. In that case, you can't apply for Canadian permanent residence through Buffalo. You have to apply from a country in which you have legal status, your home country.

I don't know about Mexico, but in order to travel to the Dominican Republic many individuals need a visa. Canadian and US citizens can visit the DR without a visa, for tourism purposes only. Also, theres no Canadian visa office in Dominican Republic, so all applications are processed in...

Am I eligible to apply in Buffalo Office with this huge problem?

I believe that he or she has to be legally admitted for a year at the time of the application. So, if he or she is illegal now it will not be possible.

Thanks BCguy. I would really appreciate it if you could ask your contact at CIC about this, when you have coffee with him/her today. What would be my next steps if I were to move from FSW to CEC? Again, thanks for your support.
