Based on trends.....since the strike got called off....ECAS seems to update on weekends as well. Or it could just be people checking their status on the weekends :P

Hi, That's the timeline for applications sent to the Mississauga office, where they pre-screen to see if you meet eligibility requirements and if all documents have been submitted. Once everything checks out, they send the files to NDVO and then the real wait starts.

I applied in March and status changed today. My wife's passport was requested back in May. So might be a couple of months before you see something. Seems like they are trying to clear out all the backlog due to the strike....once they are done things will probably move much faster. Till then...
