That's true, a departure order automatically becomes a deportation order. Once a departure order is issued by CBSA you have to let immigration know you are leaving the country. It also helps if you want to come back into the country and needed an ARC.

The sponsor have a different UCI number than the applicant. It is not the same UCI number. Check your approval letter and you will find your UCI number on there.

Maybe you can try calling Mississauga and have them forward your documents to Ottawa instead, or they could send it back to your wife and she could send it in to Ottawa herself.

Yea 3 months is the average time to get an interview date. I have no idea what kind of question they will be asking. Only someone who had an ARC interview will be able to answer that. Maybe google it and see what you find.

PPR usually takes about 2 months or so after all your updated forms are submitted. Most people get it through email!

I think their mode of communication will depends on what the applicant puts on their application. For myself (sponsor) I have gotten mails while my husband (applicant) gets all emails via our lawyer.
