FSW - In Canada Application submitted on April 10th. Medical "passed" on April 15th. Background Check still says "Not Started". No updates ever since. However, I am seeing the typical processing time from Start to Passport Request is 2 months. So patience.

No updates for me since April 15th. My application started really fast, I sent my application on the 10th, got medical exam passed, my background check changed from "Not needed at this time" to "Not Started. It still says "Not Started". Anyone with same status?

It seems like MyCIC statuses are pretty random. Some have medical passed but bg check not started (like me), Some have both in progress. Some have nothing in progress. It might be a manual process where the officer would have to switch the status, and some officers don't change them. No clue...
