Usually people link their PR application first and then the OWP can be linked 1-2 weeks later.

When mine did that, it went to "reviewed" which is good You should get an answer in a couple of days :)

From what i've been told is that you cannot enter Canada with only an OWP. You require an ETA as well. OWP does not provide re-entry, the ETA does I would listen to the IRCC

I received the OWP in the mail about a week after. The system never updated the application has "Approved". It's still sitting open as well so don't worry

We had UCI from my husband visitors extension. But we did not use it to link the application. We used the Last Name, First Name and Birthdate option

I would consult an Immigration Lawyer because your husband is out of status.. I believe a person requires status to be sponsored..

Yes, I am sponsoring him. We used his UCI and other details to link the OWP.

I did not receive AOR for my OWP.. We were able to link it on GCKEY by using his UCI. That' s how we found out that it was being processed
