Hi everyone, Weird question but we received our OWP in the mail (Yay!) but the application online is still under review. Did they just forget to approve it online prior to mailing it out? Should I call them to say something or just leave it? Just want to be safe. Thanks.

Yes, OWP was linked a week after AOR for me.

App Sent: May 2nd App Received: May 3rd AOR: July 10th OWP Received: July 29th

Quick question, So for OHIP, now that my husband has a Open Work Permit, all he needs is a letter of employment verifying that he will be working there at least 6 months and we are able to apply? :)

I got AOR July 10th and received the OWP today in the mail. It hasn't been approved online yet which is weird though

So now, I would have to go get my husband a SIN # right?

Got our OWP in the mail today!!! So weird that it hasn't been approved online but we already got it in the mail.... I guess things are working backwards

Hi everyone, Just wondering how long it usually takes once your OWP is under "Review". I have noticed that most people get approved within a 1 day and we have been waiting 3 days now. Thanks!

Mine has been saying Reviewing since Tuesday :(

Hi, Just to follow up if you have heard anything? Is your application being reviewed? Mine is being reviewed and has been stuck like that for 2 days. I thought that it was supposed to be approved a day after being reviewed.. (at least that is the trend I have seen)

I think so because they need a way of looking up your file to see if it has been returned or not... But i'm not 100% sure so don't take my word for it!

I don't think you "NEED" a lease in both of your names... Myself and my husband applied without a lease in both of our names. My credit sucks so we had to use my father and put the lease in his name. We used our joint bank account,bills, receipts and online purchases as proof.

The application number that you are using, it's not the same one as the PR number right? Because they are two totally different applications. Try linking it using Last Name, First Name and Birth date... If you applied in June, it's still early and maybe they haven't entered the OWP app yet.

I wouldn't bother with the call agents much. They usually don't know whats going on. As long as you have a temporary number, that's all that matters. Means that the app was received on their end and entered into their system. You can try linking it. Just remove the X and enter the rest.

I honestly feel like May applicants got screwed over :( AOR's received super late and all...

Still haven't received an update... Hopefully all is ok :(
