I think once we receive the PPR request, the final decision is already made in our favor. The status update on the GCkey may take some more time and it's not under our control.

Yes some cases are mentioned in other posts that they received PPR request within 10-15 days after passing medical and even their BC got completed within few days. Hopefully this trend continues so that we all could get our visas in this month :-)

Guys, looking at recent trend, how much time you think it will take in final decision and for passport request, any guesses?

Many Congratulations Ashu !!, by God's grace even I have passed the medical exam. I have a suggestion, let's make a group for all the applicants waiting for final passport stamping. It would certainly help us once we are in Canada, any suggestions ?

I passed my medical on 28th June, my other timeline are under my personal details. How many days do you think NDVO would generally take to start the BG as mine not started yet.

Since I received 1st AOR in April 17 there has been no update on my ECAS, though I even completed my medical tests. Has anyone else faced the similar situation.

You mean he received the medical request between 8th June - 12th June, completed and passed his medicals, the NDVO performed the background check and has given Positive Decision. Now asked him to submit his passports, If yes, this is super fast indeed. Please clarify.

I don't think slightly high cholesterol should be a problem, as it's easily treated. Your wife should consult a doctor and start taking medicine. This shouldn't be considered life threatening disease.

Ashu, even my BP was on borderline, but doctor said nothing to worry. If its very high they would suggest for additional test like ECG etc.... So chill my friend you will pass without any doubt.
