Even my GC Key status has changed like others. I guess they changed for everyone or for people who's file has got transferred to the respective local visa offices. They might be thinking of sending the MR request in bulk...fingers crossed !!

Why the NDVO takes so much of time to ask for MR after file transfer. The background checks should be straight forward for most of the people, if they could take some measures this would drastically cut the overall duration of 16 months.

Hello, A quick question, my PR application is with CIC for more than 80 days and so far no response has been received. What is the timeline by when they need to confirm on the application status (1st AOR). Is there a way to communicate with them on phone or email. Please share your experience.

Hello, A quick question to you guys, my Birth Certificate doesn't have my name mentioned and my file is with CIC since 6th January 2017. Is there a possibility that they would accept or it would be returned. Any past experience, please share.

Looks like CIC has started to work on the current lot and thus the status has changed. My application was received on 5th January 2017. It's 60 days now and hopefully the AOR is on the way for all the waiting folks.

Response to Sroy117: If you are nominated for SINP-OID, you won't get additional 600 points. The SINP-OID works very differently from express entry and points requirement is 60/100. The SINP-OID follows paper based application process to CIC. You may check for SINP-Express entry which is...
