[working experience]A gap of days between 2 jobs

This question is assessing whether the candidate has the one year of continuous work experience to be eligible. Like @DelPiero07 said, the continuity is important for the one year minimum requirement.

Using foreign PhD as work experience

Re-read @jes_ON reply. If your PhD includes an employment contract then you were classified as an employee, count the experience in EE. Otherwise, you were just classified as a student, and you must wait until you have one year of work experience.

    Does family history matter?

Yes that’s true. I misread OP’s statement thinking that the family immigrated to Canada instead the US.

    Does family history matter?

If your father was a Canadian citizen before your birth, then you may be a Canadian citizen. Otherwise, your family history is irrelevant.

    Relinquish

Usually the purpose of voulantarily revoking your PR a status is so that you can apply for another type of visa or enter Canada under a new status. If you know that you will not meet the RO and would like to apply for a new status, then it makes more sense to voulantarily revoke your status...

    Information regarding lost PR card

I have never done this, but if I had to this is what I would do: 1. Apply for verification of PR status ($30 and about 2-3 months)...

Canadian / American couple looking to move back to Canada

As a US citizen, your husband can travel quite freely between US and Canada on 6-month visitor visa, which is granted when he reaches the Canadian border and is assessed by CBSA. When you say he will be working, he will be working for a US company, paid in USD, and will never go to an office...

    Soft landing query

I read OP’s query differently: Yes, you will have an issue at Canadian immigration if travelling by air without PR card or PRTD. Technically, you could reach CBSA and present just COPR, but the airline will not let you board a plane to Canada without PR card, PRTD, or U.S. passport.

What needs to be scanned in colour......

The only thing that is certain is that no one on this forum can advise on such a specific request. It’s up to IRCC and no one here represents IRCC.

What needs to be scanned in colour......

Why don’t you rescan it? If IRCC doesn’t like it, then they will ask for a new copy.

    Extension for submission

Email them and explain the situation. They will likely grant the extension, but you must act before the current deadline. Otherwise your application may be rejected.

    Work History v/s Address History

You are overthinking the situation. It’s quite common for employers to be based of headquartered in one location and employees to be working in another location. There is no harm in explaining in the LOE, but you probably don’t need to talk about your authorization to work in the US. Afterall...

What does full time work means after getting your post grade work permit as an international student

If you have self-employed contract work, then you would need reference letter from your client(s) and/or invoices to support the number of hours you worked. You can’t just pull a number out of a hat.

PR card application cancelled - Will I lose my PR status as well ?

Your PR status is fine. It’s a misconception that your status is related to the expiry date of your PR card. In fact, your status is perpetual until it is formerly revoked because of one of three reasons: (1) you voluntarily revoke your PR status (2) you commit a serious crime (3) you do not...

    Is it misrepresentation?

This is not a small problem that can be resolved by a “barrister” like yourself on a forum. OP should consult an immigration lawyer.
