PR Card arrived today. Landed 02/12/2015 at Niagara

PR Card times for new applications are currently at 42 Days on the CIC website. Some people from early December are now receiving cards. We might end up being okay!

Wow, you've got it even worse than I have! Information is sparse, but from what I've read, you have to apply in person at London and its a same-day thing. So drop off application and passport early in the morning and pick it up later that day. Some places though said it could be up to 4 weeks...

So the door just went and the dog went crazy, but at least my CoPR is finally here! From being received by CIC to CoPR it took just over a year! Super thankful for all the help that is posted on here, its been a great resource! I'm hopefully heading to the Peace Bridge tonight to flagpole :)

You were told by email that you had been approved? Thats the first I've heard of it so far.

They are implementing an ETA system. You are right that it starts in March. I think this is only needed if you are entering or leaving the country as a visitor. If you are simply extending your stay I think you'd be fine

I think you get all correspondence via email except the final decision. The CoPR always comes by mail, so unfortunately we've got to wait! :)

You get informed of the decision by regular mail, not email FYI :)
