Hello everyone, I recently renewed my Indian passport from BLS International (Brampton) and received my passport today, upon checking the validity is only 5 years instead of default 10 years. Did anyone face the same issue? Or how can I correct it to 10 years? Thanks Anil

I'm in similar timelines, I'll complete 12 months on 26th September. Looking for answers from someone who already passed this situation.

Yes, where you see the biometrics validity mentioned in the letter. If your application is in New Delhi, India, and received a biometrics correspondence letter then you'll hear good news in a day or two. All the best.

Currently, all VAC in India are closed, so you can't give biometrics probably until the end of September. If you are elsewhere, check the VFS website for that country.
