After landing, you can get the OHIP updated with new details if you already have it. They will extend it after checking your COPR document. No need to wait for another 3 months. Same is the case with SIN..

I was not asked to surrender my old workpermits. They didn't even ask for the same. Its ok if you have stamp on your Workpermit. They have all the records with them. There won't be any issue with the stamping on work permit.

As per my experience, they give the visa till the validity of your medical results i.e one year from the day when CIC received your medical results.
You can stay as long as you will return before the end of the COPR validity.

Also, as you submitted in Sep2012 .. they will check for 2 years of work experience as the rule changed in Jan 2013..
The best way is to install canada post app in your smartphone where you can add both tracking numbers.. you will get tracking number not found till it is received by Canadapost...
