Hi Littlemackay, As far as I know, you don't need to change the name in the work permit till the next extension. Get it changed in the SIN card/Health Card. My wife's name was changed after marriage and they told you can use the same work permit.

Hi, You can travel with the COPR/Record of landing. You can come back with the same. I went to US and came back on my personal car with COPR document. He didn't even check that..

Yes first i sent it as a scanned copy and now i am sending with my documents. It will be there with them but i think it was missed because i was having new passport and the landing date on that passport is recent..

Yes, my lawyer sent mail to cpp ottawa with scan copy of COPR and landing date on passport and mentioned my application number in the headline. Yes I got my new SIN and Health Card.

I completed my landing 1 month ago and I am sending the original COPR back tomorrow..I don't think we need to land again.. It will be only for our reference.

Hi Canadavisa, I also had clerical errors related to my Original date of entry. I emailed CIC, After 1 month, I got reply to submit all documents with return xpresspost envelope for reprinting the documents. Don't know if the border officer will allow you to go inside as you already completed...
