seems pretty clear to me. It states the fees were not taken “Your application for Canadian Citizenship was considered incomplete and was not processed and fees were not taken.” Only IF you CHOOSE to get a refund, you’d have to refer to Annex A. So just send the same fee receipt back.

Probably doesn’t mean anything. Some get it, some don’t. I didn’t get one after sending my application on Feb 2, but my tracking has been activated as of Feb 17 on the BLS site. Activated on the consulate site on Feb 19.

You would list this as a temporary worker, as your student visa expired on 8/31 and you were on implied status. The calculator does not give you an option to list implied status, but you can write a letter explaining the reasoning behind this “gap”.

Thanks, but I haven't received any email in spam either, and don't think they are organized enough to send one. I had to call them 3 times in the last two weeks just to get the tracking to show up.

Did you get an acknowledgement email from BLS before your tracking started showing on the BLS website?

1) I had two separate envelopes but put the original Indian passport only in one. 2) If you visit the BLS site, they have all the links and documents/fees listed by jurisdiction.

I applied for surrender + OCI two weeks ago.

So weird. I called them today and they said it was still in the “verification process” and my tracking would show up in the next day or so. Exactly what they said last week as well. Very annoying.
