Movement on my file too!!!! I recieved a 60 day letter (dated 6th Jan) for new police certs and for the rprf fee! A little bizarre really as I paid it upfront, though I did tick the box on the application form that said "I" paid the fees, so 4 months ago was sent a checque from CIC to refund...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

I thought I did, but I remember asking on here if it was the AOR and apparently according to the 'rules' of AOR, no it wasn't. The sponsorship approval email advised that they had submitted the application to Buffalo, and Ecas stated that this was recieved on the 9th of August. The actual AOR...

Well following the advice of forcing AOR's I emailed Buffalo a couple of weeks ago, and they responded within 24 hours advising that they hyad sent an email back in August confirming receipt of the file on the 24th August. Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

So up until the last thing I heard on the 9th of August (file transferred from Miss to Buff) - there ha been no movements. Now I'm totally aware that Buffalo are well within their processing times - but I was starting to get itchy (in a non std kind of way). So I emailed them last night...

do i need to change my lastname in my passport into my married name?

I would say the only thing they might question is why you would be applying under common law when you are married? Aside from that there is no reason to change to your married name, I am waiting until I (hopefully!!) get pr and then i'll change my passport and apply for a new pr card in my new...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

just a quick question - I read that people log in with either their / their sponsors details on Ecas. We are still showing application recieved for the pr part (recieved by Buffalo on 9th August) - and that is logging in using the client id and my husbands (the sponsors') details. I've tried...

Possible refusal and refund of $465

Thanks for the replies, we paid $1040, the processing fee along with the RPRF. Following research and advice, mirrored above, I feel a little better about the fact that corrspondance preceeds refund and not vice versa. Hopefully all is ok :)

Hi, My husband and I applied for outland spousal sponsorship in June, sending all of the fees up front, it is being processed in Buffalo (no idea why, I'm British he's Canadian!) In August he was approved as a sponsor and Ecas reflects that, along with "application recieved for permanent...
