To extend PGWP you would need LMIA to get a closed work permit from the LMIA employer, or else get ITA, submit eAPR and apply for BOWP, or get a PNP and apply for BOWP, all before the current WP expires or its not applicable for a bridging permit

Yes it is technically "next" but that makes it sound like its a quick step, PPR can be months and months away and thats normal.

I applied for PR under CEC, which doesnt require proof of funds technically. I provided 2 years of T4 and NOA and also showed my bank account with $12k in it, now my question is do i have to leave this $12k sitting or can i invest it in an ETF fund in the meanwhile, I can withdraw it anytime so...

Relax, many people have waited weeks it doesnt necessarily mean anything

Unless you have a very high score (480+ seems the norm right now) that would guarantee you get an ITA asap, i would wait till you get ITA before doing a medical then youll get a document to submit with ur online PR application

When so much depends on it, you should do everything (extra) that you can do to make a better case for yourself It's not necessary but if you have it, submit it. It will just make things more clear and further reduce the chance of any issues

Yup mine took around 20 days and seems others here reported similar or faster results as well, good luck!

You are not serious right, this poster got AOR on 13 june. I dont think every ghost email means anything. Sit tight and wait it out, we will all get PPR inshallah in good time

It should be the date of your degree/qualification as far as I know and that is what I entered, my month of graduation.

I am expecting my BOWP soon in the mail (hopefully before tues if Canada post goes on strike), once i have that can i go to the border for a new temporary resident visa or do i have to apply online and send my passport by mail Thanks

Got my email in myCIC confirming my BOWP approval today, applied June 8th approved June 30th Wooohooo

Make sure you submit it with the express entry application its a required document

My BOWP application now says Approved :o :P :D Haven't got the message yet in myCIC and hope i get the permit before Canada Post strike fiasco but now atleast i know i got it phew, now I can wait for PPR without worrying that much any idea what CIC will do in the meantime, it is ridiculous...
