Anybody here ever submitted a case specific inquiry?How long did it take for an answer.

Same here. Mine was received Sept 18th.

CIC site shows that they are working on applications received September 21. When I call the call Center to see why mine hasn't been processed yet the agent told me that they have up to 3 month to give an answer. I thought they had up to the timend on the site. Can someone confirm that?

I know right? They can't even update their own website. Processing time is updated weekly but the last update is Nov 10th. 2 weeks off.

The major airlines flying in to and out of north America ( from/to Europe ) have 2 free check luggages. That will be Air France Air canada, United, Brussels Airline , Delta. I took them all at least once for the past 3 years every 6 months.

It is 2 checked luggage for flight out of north America. Plus 1 carry on and 1 personal item (so 2 carry on). Those are free. You pay 100 dollars or Euro for each extra luggage up to 50 lbs/23kg ea. And no limit to the numbers.

Check the CVAC website. They offer support in transmitting passport to CIC. I tried to post it but it wouldn't work. Your husband can go to the nearest CVAC.

If you are going on EI you should be fine. But if you are going on welfare you can't sponsor.

Are you sure you are not confusing EI and welfare? Usually when you get laid off you go on EI not welfare. EI won't affect the PR but welfare will.

If your tracking says it was received and signed you shouldn't worry about that.

Hi guys, Anybody heard anything from CIC regarding AOR? We are already a week into October.

As per IMM5491 Section 18 you also need to show proof of employment or income. There is no minimum income requirement for spousal sponsorship but you just need to show that you have an income.
