That’s not true. Parent can stay every visit upto 2 year. Also, sometime you just apply online for the extension and they give you another 2 year stay. IRCC is very lenient with parent visit permit.

Submit the web form it will got to the office where your file is being processed.

PPR is PR....Pre arrival is different than PPR. Pre arrival is sign that you are approved. PPR tells you that your visa is ready to stamp.

Pre-arrival is not PPR. PPR is Passport request.

I had a cosigner and it took more than a month after "in process" to got to DM. However, I know, someone had a cosigner and got approved quickly. For me, my spouse had a EI from maternity and parental. That might have costed some time to me..just guessing...

You will get acknowledgement of web form in 5-7 days. After that web form team will send it to appropriate department to work on. I sent a webform to update some information on June 13 and got acknowledgement on June 20 and still waiting for the information to get updated on the application...

I use the 2-1-0 option. Usually it goes to agent in 2-3 tries. Remember keep trying back to back if it says all are busy. Good luck!
