I would say wait for them to come here first. Once they are here then you can update the IRCC. In these days, you never know the flights and and govt policies. However, it is good idea to bring them here. It may help the file to process sooner than in India.

My recommendation is to avoid the delay. Below case may help to make your decision. They got the PR in July 2019 and delayed the landing and now struggling. You choice though...

For me it took 8 months to pass the medical, after we submitted. I had to seek help from my local MP. You can see my previous comments for details, if you want. Usually, it takes about a week, if everything is normal and no further test required.

There would be expiry date on the visa, your parents should land before that date. They used to issue the visa until the expiry of the medical exam. If you recently did the medical then you may have enough time to land.

Try login on ECAS with your parent's uci id, If you see non Canadian address there then it means CPC-M thinks your parents are not in Canada. Do this activity for all dependent as well. If you see any non Canadian address on the ECAS for any UCI id on application then I would say send a email...

no phone or email from them. No passport request. I can see COPR number and expiry date in my cic account. 1 day from DM to complete. My parent's are already in Canada and I had updated IRCC long time back. May be that's why I did not get any email or phone to confirm that.

Same thing happened to me. They send me the regular mail (why??? no idea). Every other communication was email or online. I have option for email and/or online for communication. So keep an eye on your mail too.

How long it took to get this email after the ECAS status updated? For us it’s two days since ecas status changed to complete. It also has a line that xxxx is landed at Etobicoke and became permanent resident. But no sign of that email.... very anxious.... Thanks...

Best is you contact your local mp and seek their help to clear this.

You had a DM2 in march and then wen t back to in process? This is strange. Did you call the IRCC? I would say request the ATIP notes.

Wait for a day or so....It may come through. Other wise keep checking your mail too. For me they send the RCMP request via mail (strange). All my other communications were through email or my cic.

I see this morning, ECAS status changed to Complete. I also see the similar line in the details saying that xxx entered Canada at Etobicoke IRCC on October 28, 2020 and became a Permanent Resident. No Copr yet. But I do see the copr document number and expiry date in the my cic account. Did you...

I just tried to find the application in my cic account using the option " Add (link) your application to your account " Just fill out the information and try to find the application.

I would say submit what ever they as asap. they may extend the medical. For me they requested the Canadian criminal check record based on finger print from RCMP. As far as I knew, it was never required.

They were at the time of application submitted. They are back home and will be back in Canada next month.
