Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

You mean the applicant was an outland applicant and got PR within 18 months. This is super fast due to current conditions. Do you know any other information? What comes to my mind is, Most probably the applicant applied within Canada and haven’t changed his address even though he left Canada...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Today, they are going to announce restrictions on international travellers again. Most probably they will extend it one more month. Maybe, people who already got PR confirmation might be excluded from the ban. Vaccinations are going super fast. USA & UK has already vaccinated everybody. Canada...

Because it is the biggest chunk among the all quotas and for instance you can’t stop family reunification.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Quebec should stop issuing CSQs for QSW at least for 2 years to clear this clogged backlog. I hope 1 week later when travel restrictions get eased, most probably they will continue to process outland files. They haven't been processing outland files from March 2020, it can't go forever like this.

You can add hotel etc. information to form. Even you stay several days, it won’t create a problem.

You can update your passport related information via web form. It is very easy, just upload high quality scan and a doc file which explains it. It takes at most 2 weeks them to update. Then if you ask GCMS, you ll see that it is updated there as well.

I don’t know why are you targeting me. I am here to share my thoughts and my experiences. I m really not up to rude against other people, we are all in the same boat. Just don’t prejudge before knowing nothing about others. Let me tell you my story. I decided to pursue another option after the...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

You are accusing me not being objective but I said the same. This decision is purely economical. Health part is the thing that they use to rationalise their story. If it was a health issue, they should also have not let international students to enter the country. I don't want to repeat but I...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Again, you confessed that it is not a health issue, it is economical. So; the health related points you have listed above are not valid. This is how IRCC acts as well. They use COVID pandemic as an excuse of travel restrictions even though it is not the real reason.

Then they think all other people who are eligible to travel Canada (including international students) are immune to COVID.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Yes, IRCC said it's currently prioritizing applicants who are eligible to travel to Canada under COVID restrictions. This is where we come to the same point again. If an international student or any other non-restricted traveller can enter to Canada with 3 days mandatory hotel quarantine, why...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

This is sad to hear. I see that other programs rather than QSW stream are much much faster. This is the main problem here. Other programs also accept inlands & outlands. It is real torture for us.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Outlands can also easily travel to Canada with mandatory quarantine, vaccination certificates or valid PCR tests etc. But it is restricted till 21st of May. Ridiculous! While International students travel but approved permanent residents can’t land. Whenever they let outlands to land and get...

Is it fair to wait 27 months for outlands?

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Travel restrictions will be lifted on 21st of May. I think that even after that date they will not continue to process outlands. From the news, I am able to see their intentions. People who apply 14-17 months after me, will be prioritized because they are inland and because they did not get...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

It says prioritization is thought for inland applicants. But they already only process inlands, I haven’t heard any outland file processing in the last 13-14 months. What is not fair? I did not get you.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

They think to prioritize inland applications. I waited 47 months for CSQ and I am in my 28th months of federal process. I completed total of 75 months already. 6 years 3 months... Single, no children. And no medical yet.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Important news for OUTLANDS Canada extended travel restrictions again! Restrictions on international travellers have been extended until at least May 21. So; they've added 1 more month. I think we will continue to see IRCC to process only inlands at least one more month. Then, God knows what...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I've seen a late 2018 outland applicant from India who got his PR (family with 2 children) in less than 11 months. I've also seen 2 outland applicants who completed their process under 13 months. So there are always some extreme cases.
